Sturminster Marshall is a village on the river Stour in Dorset. The village has a population of about 2,000 and there is evidence of activity here from as early as the Iron Age.

"Sturminstre" or Stourminster is mentioned in Domesday and takes its name from the river and the "Minster" church. The present Norman church is believed to be on the site of an earlier Saxon building. The church was heavily restored in the Victorian era. "Marshall" was added to the name after William Earl Marshal of England was given the manner of Sturminstre by King John in 1204.

and Knicks agree to new contract

Smith and Knicks agree to a new contract; Pablo Prigioni's new deal also gets done Smith's agent, Leon Rose, confirmed that the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year, signed a maximum deal allowable which will pay Smith approximately $25 million over the next four years. Smith officially agreed to a new contract on Thursday, and the Knicks further bolstered their roster by re signing Pablo Prigioni, who ended last season as Comprar Levitra one of the club's most reliable players.

Smith's agent, Leon Rose, confirmed that the veteran shooting guard will receive a four year contract worth approximately $25 million, which includes a player option for the fourth year. The Daily News first reported the signing early Thursday.

After three seasons, Smith would have his full "Bird rights," which would allow the Knicks to sign him to a more lucrative deal. Under the rules of the CBA, the $25 million Smith will receive was the most the Knicks were allowed to pay him.

The official numbers on Smith's contract will be determined when the NBA moratorium ends on Wednesday and the salary figures are set. Also, any deals that include free agents, including the Knicks' trade for Toronto's Andrea Bargnani, cannot be made until that date.

Corey Sipkin The Knicks also bring back a key piece to the puzzle as Pablo Prigioni also gets a new contract.

Prigioni, 36, will receive a three year deal for just under $6 million that includes a team option and a buyout for the Buy Boldenone India third year. Re signing Prigioni was crucial once Jason Kidd retired. With Kidd, Rasheed Wallace, Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas no longer on the roster, Prigioni holds the distinction as being the Knicks' oldest player.

In order to retain Prigioni, the Knicks have to use part of their $3.18 million mini midlevel exception. That leaves the club with approximately $1.75 million on that exception to sign another player and could mean that restricted free agent Chris Copeland won't return. The Knicks have seven players under contract, not including Bargnani and first round pick Tim Hardaway Jr.

If Copeland signs elsewhere, the Knicks will still need to sign six players. Kenyon Martin is a possibility to return but not if Elton Brand is signed. The Knicks want to add another point guard and are looking at Aaron Brooks, Sebastian Telfair, Will Bynum, Earl Watson and Devin Harris. The Knicks, who probably don't have enough money to sign small forward Carlos Delfino, are also interested in swingmen Francisco Garcia, Matt Barnes and Dahntay Jones.
